This 1950s bungalow home lacked curb appeal and supplied limited cover throughout the year. We designed and installed a large timber pergola on the exterior façade and updated the stoop to modernize the home, provide weather protection, and create a welcoming entrance for guests.
Cedar siding, modern black sconces, and a custom 8-foot solid fir were design elements added to the entryway. Matching cedar railings flank the walkway, balancing the pergola to the left of the home while hiding an egress window below. LED garden spotlights are positioned at the concrete footings to highlight the timbers above, adding warmth to the house at night.
